Release timeline

June 2026

Notifications & @Mentions

Never miss a beat. A new in-app notification center gathers comments, shares, invites and agent activity into one inbox, with a preference center so you control exactly what reaches you. The groundwork for @-mentions shipped with it; authoring them from the comment box is still to come.

Activity History & Comments

Every lattice now keeps a complete, tamper-proof history of who changed what and when—and you can restore deleted cards with a single click. We also added rich-text comments on any card, so the discussion lives right beside the work.

Timelines & Date Facets

Put time on an axis. A new date facet turns any lattice into a living timeline: give cards a start and end, then zoom from days to years while Glattice automatically groups and lays out overlapping spans. Roadmaps and schedules, the Glattice way.

Undo & Redo, Everywhere

Edit fearlessly. Undo and redo now cover every change you make—move a card, rename a facet, recolor the grid—and even an entire AI command collapses into a single, reversible step.

The Glattice Developer Platform

Build on top of Glattice. We opened up a public REST API with a polished, interactive reference at /developers — so you can pull your lattices into your own tools, automate your workflow, or wire up a custom integration in minutes.

April 2026

Built for Reliability

Glattice now works beautifully wherever you do — full support across Chrome, Firefox, and Safari — plus a top-to-bottom accessibility pass so the whole app is smoother to navigate by keyboard and screen reader.

Meet the AI Command Bar

Just describe what you want, and watch Glattice build it—the new AI Command Bar creates and edits lattices from plain-language prompts, streaming each step as it works. And with our new Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, AI agents like Claude and Cursor can work with your lattices directly, secured end-to-end by OAuth.

Room to Breathe

Rows now size themselves to their content and respect your zoom level, with smooth expand-and-collapse and pixel-perfect alignment in presentation mode. No more cramped cells or clipped cards.

March 2026

Account & Password Management

Take charge of your account: reset a forgotten password, change it whenever you like, and reach your profile from anywhere in the app. We also gave the space switcher a cleaner layout for long names.

Plans & Billing

Glattice plans are here. Subscribe, upgrade, and manage seats through a secure Stripe-powered checkout and billing portal—all backed by an exhaustive test suite so payments simply work.

Import & Export, Reimagined

Move your data in and out with confidence. Redesigned import and export flows handle CSV and JSON through friendly modals, map your columns to facets automatically, and let you safely replace or merge into an existing lattice.

February 2026

Built on Trust

We put our principles in writing: brand-new About, Privacy, and Terms pages, a note from our founder, and a clearer pricing story—all reflecting our Privacy-First mission.

Present Mode & Personal Views

Show your work beautifully with a new distraction-free presentation mode. Your personal view of each lattice—axes, zoom, and color mode—is now remembered just for you, and we unified colors for a consistent look (and fixed a long-standing bug that could lose your layout).

Seamless, Conflict-Free Collaboration

We rebuilt the editing engine so every change is atomic: it syncs instantly to everyone viewing a lattice, survives simultaneous edits without clobbering anyone, and set the stage for the undo/redo and history features that followed.

January 2026

Visual Polish & Media

The interface got a significant upgrade with a new 4-state card media system and a migration to the Phosphor icon family for consistent styling. We also refined the "neon glass" aesthetic for tags and polished the interaction details across the grid.

Going Global

Glattice is now multilingual! We completed the rollout for Japanese, Simplified Chinese, French, German, Portuguese, and Spanish. This update included a comprehensive overhaul of our internationalization infrastructure, ensuring date formatting and UI elements adapt seamlessly to your region.

New Look, New Website

We launched a brand new landing page featuring our "Privacy First" mission, interactive meal planner demos, and a responsive mobile layout. The visual identity was strengthened with the new custom Glattice icon and dynamic typewriter effects.

Security & Stability

We hardened the platform's security by strictly enforcing tenancy isolation and Row Level Security (RLS) for all data access. This week also saw the introduction of a robust "Atomic" testing framework using Playwright to ensure every release remains stable.

December 2025

Organizations & Spaces

We restructured the core hierarchy, introducing "Spaces" and Organization-level controls. Administrators can now manage subscriptions, team inactivity flows, and global settings more effectively. We also introduced "Ghost Cards" and glassy lattice thumbnails.

The Great Migration

A transformative week where we migrated our entire backend to Supabase and officially rebranded from "Facetcetera" to "Glattice." This foundation enabled new real-time collaboration features, including live presence avatars and AI-assisted creation flows.

The Beginning

The journey began with the release of our MVP. We established the fundamental "Lattice" concepts—flexible grids, powerful facets, and card patterns—setting the stage for a new way to organize complex information.
